Here’s an interesting video tutorial that I came up with this weekend. This rose drawing is made up of simple shapes such as hearts. I thought this would be good practice to help recognize that shapes and spaces are very important factors when creating art.
I’m happy with how this one turned out. It looks Victorian. This time, I didn’t use a microwave. Instead, I used a heat gun in the this video tutorial because my microwave is rather small. The art may not have fit inside – especially with the rotating tray in action.
I’ll be doing this again! This is the easiest way ever to paint a rose. Did you ever cut a bunch of celery and notice that it looks like a rose? You can just use it as a stamp! Check out my video tutorial here.
